Getting ready for the holidays!
I'm happy to say that I am done with my Christmas shopping already and have almost everything wrapped too! Sadly my baby no longer believes in Santa so that made it easier this year. I am really looking forward to our family Thanksgiving dinner this Saturday. I love spending time hanging out with my family. I am determined to make the holidays as stress-free as possible so that I can truly enjoy them =). Hopefully that won't be too much to accomplish since I'm hosting our family Christmas lol.

2008
This year has gone by so quickly, and with the holidays here already it will be over before we know it. Looking back over this year and the things that it has brought has started me thinking about how much I want to do, how thankful I am, and how much I’ve grown this year. I’ve realized that all of the things that I want to be, to have, and to do won’t come to be unless I take the initiative towards them. I’ve learned that it’s important to trust my instincts. I have felt the fear of the word cancer, but thankfully in one of its simplest forms. I can see that I am capable of so much, and also that when I’m not I have a wonderful family and awesome friends that are there for me. Also I have had so many glimpses of the incredible young lady that my little girl is becoming. It has been both a trying year and a great one.
Just for fun =) in the spirit of Bridget Jones here's a review of 2008 for me.......

Number of surgeries: 2
Number of trips to Ohio, moles removed, and guys dated: 3 each
Number of units of plasma, days spent alone radioactive, hospital stays, and new scars: 4 each
Number of visits with the Weaver's and times having stitches: 5 each
Number of doctors seen: 6
Number of prescriptions and weeks off of work: 7 each
Number of blood draws: 13
